After an early morning bus ride from Shavei Tzion to the northern Galil, we set off after the traditional reading of the Traveller's Prayer and blowing of the shofar into a beautiful sunny day and with a new directions protocol which failed at the first key spot with about 20 riders missing a turn and then going off in all directions. It took over an hour to get everyone back en route but the Crew handled it very well.
The hills were steep today and took a bit of effort! The highlight was a visit to the Agamon HaHula to see the various birds and friends inhabiting this reclaimed and then returned swampland. The cranes were very impressive!
We stayed overnight at HaGoshrim Hotel and the room and food were fantastic! A tiring day but a great place to rest up ahead of tomorrow's hills....
