IsraelRide Day 3 - Hagoshrim to Beit She'an

The breakfast this morning was the equal of last night's dinner! No directions mishaps today but the weather was extremely hot as we climbed what is this year's steepest section of the Ride into the Golan Heights. There were some nice rest stops and a particularly shady stretch through rows of eucalyptus trees protecting the roads from oversight from Syria during the hostilities of earlier years.

After a beautiful downhill to Lake Kinneret and lunch on the shore, the weather was extremely hot and humid so a large group, including myself, opted to finish riding and join the Shomrim's tour of the extremely well preserved Roman ruins of Beit Shean where we are staying overnight in a youth hostel ahead of an early morning bus ride to the Negev.
