The profile for today looked like a Manhattan skyline with fears allayed, however, by reference to the scale which is 0-100 meters! As it turned out, it was quite a pleasant ride along the coast which we managed from start to finish for a change!
The coffee stop at 24.6km was a highlight - personalised macchiato and a delicious pastry all for 1.80 euro.
We had a little break at around 43km in Termini Imerese where Sunday services were on and locals aplenty in the streets.
Lunch stop was 4km from the end and Peter had time to frolic on the beach as Wilma was sweep today.
It was good to get a full day's ride in and the Hotel Baia del Capitano is a comfortable stop for the night.
