Not yet ready for hills, today's ride started at around the 26km mark with a first stop in a quaint little down with rolling hills, and sabras, to lunch at 64km.
That was enough for me and I vanned into the hotel while Edna rode with Peter the Sweeper having enjoyed a filling veggie lunch. All I could manage was a piece of fruit and some juice..
We had a very nice dinner at the Hotel Montaperti.

SABRA -v- SABRA |
Fresh fruit and ice cream on a biscuit. The little orange fruit is a physalis also known as "Jews' cherry". Go figure! |
Arista di maiale (pork loin) |
Unfortunately, photo of the pasta of the day got lost - it was a regional pasta with bolognese sauce..
